Creating Test Procedures

Navigate to Test Procedures

From the Dashboard, go to Tests > Test Procedures.

View the Procedure List

  • All procedures are displayed in a table with columns such as Name, Description, and Belt Surface.
  • Use the search, sort, and filter options to locate specific procedures quickly.

Create a Test Procedure

Click Create to add a new procedure. Fill in the following fields:

Basic Requirements

  • Name: Enter a unique name for the procedure (required).
  • Description: Brief description of the procedure (optional).
  • Belt Surface: Belt surface for the procedure (required).
  • Max Load Percentage: Maximum load percentage to be applied during testing (optional).

Advanced Requirements

Optionally toggle the following on (off by default).

  • Decoupled Hub: Indicates if a decoupled hub is required.
  • Static Fixture: Indicates if a static fixture is needed.
  • Non LTRE Test: Marks if the test is non-LTRE.
  • Thermal Camera: Check if a thermal camera is required.
  • Internal Sensor: Indicates if internal sensors are needed.
  • Arduino Code Update: Requires Arduino code updates.
  • UAD Code Update: Requires UAD code updates.
  • Video Camera: Indicates if video recording is required.
  • Pre Pictures: Require photos before the test.
  • Post Pictures: Require photos after the test.
  • Pyrometer: Use of pyrometer measurement.
  • Shore A: Shore A hardness measurement required.
  • Microbolometer: Indicates use of a microbolometer.
  • Customer Sensor: Check if customer-provided sensors are needed.
  • Once Per Configuration: Marks if the procedure runs once per configuration.
  • Capped Pressure: Indicates if pressure is capped during the test.

Saving and Associating with Test Sets

  • Click Save to store the procedure.

Viewing and Editing Procedures

  • Click View on a procedure in the list to see details.
  • If you have permission, you can Edit procedure fields.
  • Changes are logged for auditing purposes.

Importing and Exporting Procedures

  • Import: Upload XML or CSV files containing procedure requirements.
  • Export: Export procedure details to CSV for backup or reuse.
