Introduction

Overview

The Tire Operations Suite is designed to streamline tire testing workflows. Key features include:

  • Creating and managing test requests
  • Defining test procedures and requirements
  • Inventory management for tires, wheels, belts, and sandpaper
  • Scheduling and monitoring tests
  • Integration with external systems like MTS Runner for test execution and Tydex for data exchange
  • Role-based access control and activity logging

User Roles and Permissions

  • Admin: Full access to all features, including user management and configuration.
  • Test Engineer: Can create/manage test requests, procedures, and run tests.
  • Manager: Can view reports, schedules, and oversee operations.
  • Viewer: Read-only access to dashboards and reports.

Permissions are managed via roles (configurable in the Roles section of the app). Always check your permissions if a feature is unavailable.

Getting Started

  1. Login: Access the app via your web browser. Use your email and password to log in.
  2. Dashboard: The main landing page shows an overview of active test requests, schedules, and key metrics.
  3. Navigation: Use the navigation bar to access sections like Test Requests, Inventory, Schedule, etc.
