Managing Test Sets
Test Sets
Test sets represent a grouping of test procedures, allowing for reuse in multiple test requests.
Navigate to Test Sets
From the Dashboard, go to Tests > Test Sets.
View the Test Sets List
- All test sets are displayed in a list with the following:
- Name – Name of the test set
- Description – Brief description
- Associated Test Procedures – List of procedures included in the set
- Use search, sort, and filter options to locate specific sets quickly.
Create a Test Set
- Click Create to add a new test set.
- Fill in the following fields:
Basic Information
- Name* – Enter a unique name for the test set (required)
- Description – Add a brief description of the set (optional)
Folder Structure
- SR and FZ Tune Updated – Optionally select if tuning folders apply
- GM Folder Structure – Choose if applicable
- Milan Folder Structure – Choose if applicable
- BY Construction Folder Structure – Choose if applicable
Test Procedures
- Select procedures to include in the set.
- You can search procedures by name.
Test Set Defaults
- Add to Test Set Defaults – Apply default settings for newly added procedures or future requests.
- Click Save to create the test set.
Viewing and Editing Test Sets
- Click on a test sets name in the list to see its details.
- If you have permission, you can Edit the set’s fields, including:
- Name and description
- Folder structure selections
- Associated test procedures
- Default settings
- Changes are logged for auditing purposes.
Importing and Exporting Test Sets
- Import: Upload CSV or Excel files containing test set details (name, description, folder structure, associated procedures).
- Export: Export test sets for backup or sharing. Choose format (CSV/Excel).
