Managing Test Sets

Test Sets

Test sets represent a grouping of test procedures, allowing for reuse in multiple test requests.

Navigate to Test Sets

From the Dashboard, go to Tests > Test Sets.

View the Test Sets List

  • All test sets are displayed in a list with the following:
    • Name – Name of the test set
    • Description – Brief description
    • Associated Test Procedures – List of procedures included in the set
  • Use search, sort, and filter options to locate specific sets quickly.

Create a Test Set

  1. Click Create to add a new test set.
  2. Fill in the following fields:

Basic Information

  • Name* – Enter a unique name for the test set (required)
  • Description – Add a brief description of the set (optional)

Folder Structure

  • SR and FZ Tune Updated – Optionally select if tuning folders apply
  • GM Folder Structure – Choose if applicable
  • Milan Folder Structure – Choose if applicable
  • BY Construction Folder Structure – Choose if applicable

Test Procedures

  • Select one or more procedures to include in the set.
  • You can search procedures by name.name and reorder if needed.

Test Set Defaults

The Test Set Defaults section allows you to predefine common values for tires, wheels, belts, and reference load/pressure when using this test set. These defaults help streamline test request creation and reduce repetitive data entry.

Tire Defaults

  • Add to Test Set DefaultsManufacturerApplySelect a default settingstire manufacturer from the dropdown.
  • Size – Select a default tire size from the dropdown.

Wheel Defaults

  • Type – Select the default wheel type.
  • Size – Select the default wheel size.

Belt Defaults

  • Identifier – Choose a default belt identifier.
  • Surface – Select the belt surface type.

Reference Load and Pressure

  • Reference Load – Enter the default reference load for newlythe addedtest procedures(numeric orvalue).

  • Reference requests.Pressure – Enter the default reference pressure for the test (numeric value).

Note: Setting defaults here is optional but recommended for frequently used configurations.

  1. Click Save to createfinalize the test set.set creation.

Viewing and Editing Test Sets

  • Click on a test setsset’s name in the list to see its details.
  • If you have permission, you can Edit the set’s fields, including:
    • Name and description
    • Folder structure selections
    • Associated test procedures
    • Default settings
  • Changes are logged for auditing purposes.

Importing and Exporting Test Sets

  • Import: Upload CSV or Excel files containing test set details (name, description, folder structure, associated procedures).
  • Export: Export test sets for backup or sharing. Choose format (CSV/Excel).
